Visiting football club FC Groningen

Last week, football club FC Groningen invited the employees of Oldenburger|Fritom to visit the Euroborg stadium. This visit was all about our sustainable partnership with the FC Groningen in Society Foundation (FC Groningen in de Maatschappij).

The FC Groningen team bus took our employees from Veendam to the stadium. Here we received a warm welcome by CSR project leader Hans van Tamelen and Nick Berends, program leader at the FC Groningen in Society Foundation. They gave a presentation about the reason why the foundation was established. By entering into sustainable partnerships, as with Oldenburger|Fritom, the foundation wants to solve, among other things, the lack of exercise in the catchment area of the club.

Euroborg stadium tour
After a delicious buffet, our employees were given a tour of the stadium. They saw the changing rooms, the Arjen Robben Lounge and the press room. Oldenburger|Fritom would like to thank FC Groningen, and Hans and Nick in particular, for this wonderful day!
