Our colleague Melle Vleer is retiring. We got to know Melle in 2019 through our partnership with the FC Emmen Naoberschap foundation. Together with its partners, the foundation is committed to, among other things, people with a distance to the labor market. For example, Melle, then 63 years old, had a hard time finding a job.
He wanted to work and preferably as a warehouse employee. That is why Jan Korte, who works at FC Emmen and also at USG Restart, brought Melle into contact with us. In recent years, Melle has subsequently focused on value added services (VAS) for various customers. These services include kitting, packaging, repacking, labeling and quality checks.
Sustainable employability
Earlier this week, logistics manager Erik Mekkes thanked Melle for his dedicated efforts and presented him with a certificate and a bouquet of flowers with a gift voucher. Erik: “At Oldenburger|Fritom we focus on sustainable employability. We are therefore very pleased that we were able to have had Melle as a colleague until his retirement.”
Thank you again Melle, we wish you all the best for the future and enjoy your retirement!
