Update meeting on our new BREEAM Outstanding DC

Earlier this year, we signed the construction contract for a second distribution center according to the highest achievable BREEAM level: 5-star BREEAM Outstanding. On Friday, May 31, an update meeting took place in Veendam.

During this meeting, we presented an interim update on the new construction of our second distribution center according to BREEAM Outstanding. In recent months, the companies Bouwgroep Noord and Hardeman have made the necessary preparations. Now the next phase has begun and construction will start soon.

The official start of construction was marked during the meeting by the unveiling of the first two piles. Arnold de Jong, CEO of the Fritom Group (on the right of the photo), and René Dale, CEO of Oldenburger|Fritom, had the honor of performing these symbolic acts.
