Last Friday, Drenthe College in the Dutch city of Emmen provided the backdrop for TechWorks 2025: an inspiring event where primary school pupils in the age of 10 to 12 are introduced to technology and innovation.
After the opening by Children's Mayor Tess Katerbarg and Guido Rink, alderman for economic affairs, the pupils were able to participate in interactive workshops and attend demonstrations. The approximately 30 companies present, including Oldenburger|Fritom, wanted to use this to inspire young talents for their field of expertise.
Innovations in logistics
Our colleagues Cor Klontje (left in the photo) and Mats Dale were present on behalf of Oldenburger|Fritom. They told the pupils more about technical innovations in the world of transport and logistics. The technology in our truck, which was outside next to our stand, was particularly fascinating to the pupils.
Cor and Mats look back on a successful day and thank TechWorks for the excellent organization and the delicious whipped cream cake.
