At Oldenburger|Fritom, the employees make the difference. They are the ones who deliver the added value that sets us apart. As an organization with a growth mindset culture, we therefore continuously invest in the knowledge and skills of our colleagues.
Continuous learning
This starts with our future colleagues. By working closely with various regional educational institutions, Oldenburger|Fritom wants to create a continuous learning path. In addition to organizing company visits and giving guest lectures, we offer students internships. This regularly results in an employment contract.
This is also the case with our colleagues Sven Bakker and Benjamin Scholtens. Both did an internship with us as part of their training at Noorderpoort Logistics. Sven subsequently joined us as a Trainee Shiftleader and Benjamin as a Warehouse Operator. Both Sven and Benjamin then indicated that they would like to follow a training course, for which Oldenburger|Fritom took care of the costs.
Sven Bakker
In consultation with his manager Erik Mekkes, Sven has opted for a training in Logistics & Supply Chain Management at higher vocational education level. He started this training in 2019, after obtaining his Manager Transport and Logistics diploma at intermediate vocational education level (level 4). Earlier this month, Sven received the message that he has successfully completed his training.
Benjamin Scholtens
In consultation with Erik Mekkes as well, Benjamin started the Logistics Team Leader training at intermediate vocational education level (level 3) and successfully completed it in 2019. After that, he started the one-year specialist training in Leadership team/department/project at intermediate vocational education level (level 4). Benjamin has also successfully completed this training last month.
Congratulations once again Sven and Benjamin!
