Process Redesign by students of NHL Stenden

Today Logistics Management students of NHL Stenden visited Oldenburger|Fritom. The students are in the last year of their training and they will carry out a project with us in the coming months. This project focuses on Process Redesign according to the DMAIC model of the Lean Six Sigma method.

That is why Frans Andeweg, our Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, will guide the students in this project. During the visit, Frans discussed the starting point of the project with the students. In addition, the process that the students will focus on up to and including January was also selected.

Warehousing process
The choice was made for one of our warehousing processes. Clearly defined goals have been set, including shorter lead times while maintaining Zero Defects as the applicable quality standard.
