The Lean Six Sigma method is anchored in Oldenburger|Fritom's business operations. That is why we offer all our colleagues the opportunity to follow a Lean Six Sigma training. Amongst others Marienus van der Laan, commercial manager at our company, makes grateful use of this.

Last year Marienus obtained the Orange Belt certificate, after successfully completing our internal training. After that, he wanted to expand his knowledge of Lean Six Sigma by obtaining the Green Belt certificate. He followed this training at an external agency and recently received the Green Belt certificate.

The theory of the Green Belt training includes:

• Fundamentals of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Process improvement through the DMAIC model
• Techniques for generating ideas for improvement
• Ensuring improvements in the organization
• Change management

Examples of the practical assignments are:

• Prepare a Lean Six Sigma project plan
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Value Stream Mapping process
• Prepare measurement plan and visualize data
• Voice Of the customer (VOC) to Critical To Quality (CTQ)
