Olaf Roos obtains Safety & Security Expert diploma

Working safely, sustainably, and smart? Oldenburger|Fritom is continuously improving, optimizing, and innovating its logistics solutions. While doing so, it is important to guarantee safety in the workplace. Our QHSE manager Olaf Roos focuses on this every day.

Last July Olaf obtained the Safety & Security Expert diploma of the educational institute Kader. This training focuses on assessing risks as a professional safety expert and taking appropriate measures. Subjects that are covered during this training include:

• Setting up a Task Risk Analysis (TRA)
• Fire safety
• Electrical safety
• Machine safety
• Sound and vibration
• Physical strain
• Accident analysis

As thesis topic Olaf chose the man-up truck in our new BREEAM Outstanding distribution center. He has made a Task Risk Analysis (TRA) for this and mapped out potential risks.
