Melvin van Zonneveld celebrates 5 years of service

On July 2, our colleague Melvin van Zonneveld celebrated his 5-year work anniversary at Oldenburger|Fritom. Melvin is our Logistic Support|Contract Logistics employee within our Business Unit Freight Forwarding.

In 2018 Melvin started as an intern at Oldenburger|Fritom. His internship was part of his vocational training at Noorderpoort Logistics. Later that year, he joined us as an Assistant Forwarder. Melvin then indicated that he would like to make use of our continuous learning program, to further his education while working. He started the Economics and Logistics AD training at NHL Stenden University.

Road transportation
Melvin successfully completed this training last year. He now works with us as Logistic Support|Contract Logistics employee. In this role, Melvin advises on our road transportation solutions and then organizes the shipments. He does this for several of our customers in the high-tech industry.

In terms of training, Melvin obtained the Lean Six Sigma|Yellow Belt certificate last spring. In October he will participate in our internal LSS Green Belt training.
