Last week, five employees of Oldenburger|Fritom obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate. Bert-Jan Oosterhoff, Arjan Brouwer, Pieter-Jan van der Laan, Milko Dale and Arnoud Hofstra may now initiate major improvement processes, among others.
Oldenburger|Fritom applies the Lean Six Sigma method in all its business processes and strategic objectives. That is why all our employees follow a Lean Six Sigma training course. In addition, we guide the other Fritom operating companies in applying the method. The training courses, which are largely provided internally at Oldenburger|Fritom, meet the international standards of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). We are ISO 13053-1 Six Sigma certified for this purpose.
Belt certification
The Lean Six Sigma training courses have a belt certification:
• Master Black Belt
• Black Belt
• Green Belt
• Orange Belt
• Yellow Belt
• White Belt
The White Belt training consists of an introduction to the Lean Six Sigma method and is practice-oriented. All our colleagues on the shop floor are White Belt certified. In any case, the Yellow Belt training applies to our colleagues in the office. In addition, they can further develop themselves in the method by obtaining the Orange Belt, Green Belt or Black Belt certificate.
Green Belt
Five colleagues recently became Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. From left to right in the photo: Bert-Jan Oosterhoff, Arjan Brouwer, Pieter-Jan van der Laan and Milko Dale (Arnoud Hofstra was absent during this photo moment).
As certified Green Belts, they may now initiate major improvement processes within our organization. Also, they are now authorized to provide advice on our business processes, using 'continuous improvement' as a guideline.
We congratulate our colleagues on obtaining the Green Belt certificate!
