Geert Oldenburger 20 years of service

Oldenburger|Fritom has been a family-owned company for over a hundred years. Our history began in 1917, when Jan Oldenburger founded his own transport company in Veendam. By doing so, he laid the foundation for our development into an innovative supply chain director as we are now known worldwide. In addition, Jan Oldenburger has also literally left his mark on our company.

In 2022, several great-grandchildren of our founder work at our company, including Geert Oldenburger. Today he celebrates his 20th work anniversary at Oldenburger|Fritom. Geert is the son of Willy Oldenburger, who together with two of his brothers formed the Oldenburger Brothers (Gebroeders Oldenburger) between 1968 and 1999. Thanks to his many years of experience and professional knowledge, Geert can be engaged on a flexible basis. Just as with his great-grandfather, grandfather and father, Geert's passion for road transportation flows through his veins. That is why he now works at Oldenburger|Fritom as an enthusiastic driver.
