This week Oldenburger|Fritom extended its sustainable partnership with Top Dutch Solar Racing. This means that we will also take care of the logistics for their solar car in the coming years.
In October, Top Dutch Solar Racing will participate in the Solar Challenge Morocco 2021. An alternative to the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia, which was canceled this year due to the coronavirus. In Morocco, the teams will drive 2500 kilometers in five days. The race begins in the port city of Agadir and will cross along the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and the edge of the Sahara Desert. The finish of the race is also in Agadir.
Top Dutch Solar Racing took part in the World Solar Challenge in Australia for the first time in 2019. The team immediately won 4th place in the final ranking. In addition, the team received the prestigious ‘Excellence in Engineering Award’.
The World Solar Challenge in Australia is next scheduled to take place in 2023 and 2025. Then we will also support Top Dutch Solar Racing as a logistics partner. This year we will transport the solar car by sea container and we will take care of all customs documentation.
