A question about our partnership with DZOH?
Being the main sponsor of the amateur football club DZOH we want to offer its members the possibility to pursue a healthy lifestyle. DZOH is a football club for people of all ages and has a well-organized youth policy plan. In addition to being the main sponsor, Oldenburger|Fritom also sponsors tournaments and started the Respect project together with the football club.
The amateur football club DZOH in Emmen was founded in 1985. Club colors are yellow and green, and its home base is the sport facility called Zwanenveld, located in the suburb the Rietlanden. DZOH is known for its large number of youth members, who often get scouted by FC Emmen.
During the 2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup teams from Argentina, Nigeria and South-Korea trained at the DZOH site. Including the world-famous football star Lionel Messi.
Oldenburger|Fritom has been the main sponsor of DZOH since 2009. We have a partnership including a framework agreement. This provides for the standard sponsorship of several things and ensures both parties of an efficient and manageable cooperation. Twice a year we evaluate how things are going.
Next to being the main sponsor, we also support tournaments of DZOH, like the Oldenburger|Fritom youth tournaments. Over 700 young football players experience a sportive and fun day during these tournaments like the JO-9 and JO-11 tournaments.
Under the umbrella of the partnership the Respect project was started. Main goal is to teach the youngsters of DZOH to play in a respectful way and display good behavior on and outside the field. Creating a pleasurable football experience for everyone.
DZOH is a covenant partner of FC Groningen. With the amateur covenant FC Groningen wants to show its strong commitment to her catchment area (provinces of Groningen, Drenthe and the eastern part of Friesland). Furthermore, FC Groningen wants to provide inspiration and a connection between the regional amateur football clubs. As main sponsor of DZOH Oldenburger|Fritom helped organize a training match between DZOH and FC Groningen in 2012.
