NHL Stenden University is a multi-campus college with several branches throughout the northern part of the Netherlands and abroad. Students, employees and partners are challenged on a daily basis to discover and enforce their talents. It offers groundbreaking possibilities transcending the program. NHL Stenden students also gain knowledge from other courses both in-house and outside the college.
“At our campus in the Dutch city of Emmen we offer Logistics Management and International Logistics Management. Both are unique in the Netherlands because of their focus on sustainable logistics.
NHL Stenden University - Logistics Management and Oldenburger|Fritom have been working together in a very pleasant and valuable way for many years now. Oldenburger|Fritom’s CEO is even on the field experience advisory board of our logistic courses. His extensive operational experience ensures that these courses continue to meet the recruitments of the professional field.”
The newly built warehouse of Oldenburger|Fritom in 2019 brought the cooperation with NHL Stenden University to a new dimension. The BREEAM certified warehouse is an excellent example of a shared common vision of the importance of sustainability for the logistic industry. Students are offered the chance to see and experience logistic sustainability in the actual day-to-day practice. A unique opportunity to learn by experience first-hand from sustainable logistics.
Sjoerd van der Galiën – Academy Director Economics & Logistics, NHL Stenden University:
